Seattle City Wineries Day Tour
From Seattle, 10:30 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m.

Scheduled tour prices -- $89 + tax/person

Wineries right in the city? Tucked away in the Pike Place Market, in a historic brick building, in metal buildings in industrial parks, almost underfoot in a strip mall, in the basement of a home in a quiet residential neighborhood are hidden some of the Seattle area’s most interesting wineries. Their wines are also very noteworthy. You will meet many of the winemakers themselves. We sometimes replace one of the winery visits with a chocolate factory tour and tasting or other gourmet food stop.

We will pick you up and drop you off at your downtown Seattle hotel or other convenient Seattle meeting place. We will arrange a stop at an attractive and reasonably priced restaurant for you to purchase your meal. Check our Tour Schedule to see when Seattle and Suburb Half-Day Tours are planned.

Bainbridge Island Day Tour
From Seattle, 8:30 a.m. -- 6:30 p.m.

Scheduled tour pricing from Seattle at $135 + tax/person

Tour 4-6 small, winemaker-owned wineries in the rural areas of Bainbridge Island and the nearby Kitsap Peninsula, a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Two of the local wineries also feature local estate vineyards and operate on the principles of consumption of locally produced wines from locally-grown fruit. You will talk to the people making the wine -- and at the vineyards, to the people growing the grapes for the wine. Enjoy beautiful marine, mountain, and Seattle cityscape scenery on the ferry rides to and from the island.

For lunch, we will visit a local restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. If we have fine summer weather on tour day, we may visit a local area delicatessen or other take-out food provider, for you to purchase food for a picnic.

All the wineries are very picturesque – and only one follows the Leavenworth Bavarian Alps theme.

Yakima/ Rattlesnake Hills Day Tour
From Seattle 8:30 to 7:00, from Yakima 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Scheduled tour pricing from Seattle at $135 + tax/person

Scheduled tour pricing for Yakima pickup and drop-off at $89 + tax/person

Tour the wineries and vineyards from the Yakima city area to Wapato, Buena, and Zillah in the western part of the Yakima Valley Wine Region. We often visit a tasting room in the Yakima city area, and then move southwest of the city, where the Yakima River cuts through the ridge at Union Gap and out into the broad, rolling terrain of the Yakima Valley. All but 70 acres of Washington’s vineyards are in eastern Washington and one-third of that is in the Yakima Valley. So most of the wineries here are located in or next to the vineyards that supply their grapes. This tour concentrates on the wineries and vineyards of the Rattlesnake Hills area.

For guests from Seattle, we will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or other convenient downtown Seattle meeting place. If the weather is fine, we will visit a local Yakima area delicatessen or other take-out food provider, for you to purchase food for a picnic stop at a local winery. If the weather is inclement, we will stop at an attractive and reasonably priced restaurant and wine bar for you to have your lunch.
